As standard we sell the 14 in-stock models. We can also recolour any model on existing moulds to your specification, quoted with a per-project colour uplift $60 — size and tooling unchanged. What we do not do is custom sizes, new moulds, or OEM/ODM; that is the model we chose, with the honest list of where it does not work.
The short version
When you buy one of our pedestal sinks, you buy a unit that already exists: cast in a mold we own, photographed at listed dimensions and price. Your order runs three steps — confirm model and quantity, confirm current availability, ship.
Made-to-order runs a different sequence: a brief, a mold or sample, a confirmation, then a run, each a round-trip with its own calendar and cost.
| Dimension | In-stock (our model) | Made-to-order |
|---|---|---|
| Process | Model + quantity → confirm availability → ship | Brief → mold/sample → confirm → production |
| Up-front cost | None beyond the unit price | Tooling, sampling, development fees |
| Calendar | Ships from existing stock | Weeks to months across multiple rounds |
| Consistency | Same mold on every reorder | Batch-to-batch drift is a live risk |
| Spec | Fixed catalog dimensions and finish | Built to your specification |
| Best for | Standard, repeated, time-bound projects | Irregular spaces, brand-exclusive specs |
Time: the calendar is the first difference
A custom basin starts as a conversation about what it should be, then a mold or sample, then a confirmation, then a run — each stage a hand-off where you wait and review. On a project with a fixed date, that sequence slips the schedule.
An in-stock order collapses it. The model is decided when you pick it; no sample round, because the sample is the photo and listed dimensions. Confirm current availability and the unit is already at the crating stage — the gap between "installed in May" and "still confirming a sample in May."
Money: what you do not pay up front
Made-to-order carries front-loaded costs absent here: a mold cut, a sample cast and shipped, engineering time to turn a drawing into a producible part. They are real line items before a sellable unit exists, amortized across your order.
With in-stock product that column is gone. The mold is paid for, the sample is the catalog, the development done. You pay the unit price and freight, quoted per model and quantity, and nothing else to start.
Consistency: the same mold, months later
The consistency runs the other way.
Each catalog model is cast from one mold. Reorder the Mushroom Bowl (EXW quote on request) or Travertine (EXW quote on request) six months later and you get the same mold, material, and part — which matters for phased work, a hotel fitting out floor by floor.
Custom runs drift: a replacement cast two years later from a "locked" formula can still sit a shade off the original. In-stock has no second formula to drift from — what you approved first is what arrives last.
What you see is what you get
The dimensions on the page are the unit's dimensions. The surface shown is the surface received. The listed EXW price runs from US$172 across the 14 models; door-to-door DDP (duties and shipping included) is available on request.
None of it is an "achievable" render; the catalog model is the measured object — the thing in the photo is the thing in the crate.
The range spans plain cylinders like the Small Cylindrical (EXW quote on request) through statements like the Black Gold (EXW quote on request) and Chiseled Rock (EXW quote on request), to softer tones like Warm Brown (EXW quote on request). Fourteen models is not infinite, but it covers a wide band without a custom request.
The trade-off: what in-stock costs you
Honesty is the point of this brand, so the costs go here, in full.
Your spec must fit our catalog. Need a 520 mm basin and our catalog offers 480 mm? That mismatch we will not close with a custom run — you adapt to the listed dimensions, or you do not buy from us.
Stock is finite. We hold inventory, not unlimited supply. A large single order can exceed what is crated and ready, and part waits on the next slot. We state real availability before you commit — confirm current availability is literal.
No exclusive finish. A brand-exclusive color or trademark surface, we cannot give you, and we will say so directly.
We trade breadth of specification for speed, price certainty, and repeatability — a trade most buyers gain from, and one we would rather lose a sale than pretend otherwise.
Which projects fit — and which should go elsewhere
In-stock fits well when:
- Standard hotel refurbishments — one basin repeated across many rooms, opened on a date.
- Multi-unit residential — blocks where one or two models repeat floor after floor.
- Distributor stocking — known SKUs reorderable without re-qualifying a supplier.
- Finalized designs — drawings done, a catalog model matches.
In-stock does not fit — and we will say so:
- Irregular or asymmetric spaces where no catalog dimension works.
- Brand-exclusive colours on existing moulds — we can recolour any model to your colour spec (colour uplift applies $60); what we cannot do is a brand-exclusive trademark surface requiring new tooling.
- Accessible conversions needing covered clearance — see below; a full-column pedestal is the wrong product there.
If your project sits in that second list, another supplier is the right call.
Material, testing, and compliance status
Material. Every model is artificial stone / solid surface (non-ceramic sanitary ware, China standard JC/T 2116-2012). Unlike fired ceramic, the body is a mineral-and-resin composite colored through its full mass, so a scratch does not expose a white core. We offer only artificial stone / solid surface basins — no ceramic, no other material.
Testing. Our pedestal sinks are independently tested to JC/T 2116-2012. Reported results include water absorption of 0.1% (standard: ≤0.5%) and Barcol hardness of 46 (standard: ≥35). The raw material — unsaturated polyester resin 201B — is compliant with EU RoHS per SGS report SZXEC23002470101.
Certifications. cUPC and CE are in progress, test report available. We do not hold them yet and will not claim them.
ADA. A full-column pedestal obstructs the knee space beneath the basin. It does not provide the roughly 700 mm (27 inch) knee clearance accessibility standards require, and we do not call it ADA compliant. For accessible rooms, specify a wall-hung basin or a half-pedestal that preserves the required clearance.
Supply and inspection. We hold dedicated casting capacity reserved for our orders at a partner facility, and our own QC team is on site inspecting every unit before crating. Factory visits are welcome, in person or by live video.
Frequently asked questions
Can you make a size or colour not in the catalog? For colour — yes on existing moulds: any model can be recoloured to your spec, quoted with a per-project colour uplift $60, size unchanged. For size or new tooling — no; we sell the 14 in-stock models and do not open new moulds. If your spec needs a custom size, another supplier is the right call.
How do I know a reorder will match the first shipment? Each catalog model is cast from one mold with one material, so reordering months later gives you the same part. That repeatability is the main reason we stay in-stock.
What about lead time and minimums? We quote per model and quantity and confirm current availability before you commit. We do not publish fixed MOQ or day counts, because both depend on the specific models and volumes you need.
Are these basins certified for the US or EU? cUPC and CE are in progress, test report available. The material is independently tested to JC/T 2116-2012, and the raw material is EU RoHS compliant per the cited SGS report.
Can a full pedestal be used in an ADA-accessible bathroom? No. The column blocks the required knee clearance, so a full pedestal is not ADA compliant. Use a wall-hung or half-pedestal basin where accessible clearance is mandated.
Decide with the catalog in hand
If your project fits a known model and a fixed date, in-stock is the faster, cheaper, more repeatable path.
